Post-romantic Indie for lovers and dancers. A London-based quartet focussed on crafting feel-good yet heartfelt Indie-Pop tunes.

With rock & roll energy and a knack for instant pop hooks, the band blend retro guitar music with honest, soulful songwriting. Harvey (Vocals, Guitar), Caitlin (vocals, Drums), Ryan (Bass) and Jacob (Guitar, Drums) all met while studying at Drama School in London and instantly found a connection playing together. Since forming, Big Wednesday have gigged all over London, cutting their teeth in packed out and sweaty student bars, as well as cult venues like The Hope & Anchor, The Islington and The Victoria. With a dedicated following dead-set on singing back every word of each tune and wearing out the soles of their dancing shoes, the band are pushing forward to play bigger venues to bring their sound to a wider audience. Whether it's sharing the bill with other up and coming artists, supporting well established bands, or headlining their own show, Big Wednesday will always bring the buzz.

The band cite their influences from a wide range of rock and pop artists beginning with retro bands like The Zombies and Fleetwood Mac all the way up to The Strokes and Radiohead, making a pit stop in the Post Punk era with Elvis Costello and more. Their debut EP is out now on Spotify/Apple Music and all other major streaming platforms. On this three track compilation, Big Wednesday have managed to capture their driving live energy as well as the expansive range in their material.
